I first began using Facebook in May of 2008. I just finished my Junior year of high school. It was new, and honestly a little intimidating. Back then I used Facebook just for sharing and connecting with friends and family.
Now, I guess it's not much difference. For me, Facebook is still a place for sharing and connecting. My Facebook is strictly personal. However, I can see where Facebook would be a convenient professional tool as well - with the same concept of sharing and connecting.
